Job Title: Elementary Choir Teacher (Part-Time, $60/hr)

 

Location: Coronado Unified School District – Village Elementary & Silver Strand Elementary, Coronado, CA

 

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Two days per week at each school

Grades 2–5

 

Compensation: $60/hour

 

Position Overview:
Coronado Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Elementary Choir Teacher to lead before-school choir programs for students in grades 2–5. This role is ideal for educators, choir directors, or vocal coaches who are passionate about music education, student performance, and creating a positive learning environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging choir rehearsals before school hours.

Teach vocal technique, pitch, rhythm, and harmony to elementary students.

Prepare students for performances and school events.

Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can succeed.

 

Qualifications:

Experience in choir direction, vocal coaching, or music teaching (preferred).

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

No teaching credential required.
