    Job Title: Project Manager – Pathway Serious Mental Illness Society

    About Us: Pathway Serious Mental Illness Society (PSMIS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Our mission is to provide education, resources, and advocacy to improve the lives of those living with mental illness.

    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team at PSMIS. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and completion of projects that support our mission and goals. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budget in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or roadblocks
  • Communicate project updates and deliverables to stakeholders and team members
  • Manage project resources, including assigning tasks and overseeing project team members
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring all action items are communicated and completed
  • Conduct project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future projects
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure project goals are aligned with organizational objectives
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project management processes and techniques
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts by assisting with grant applications and reporting as needed

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Experience working in a non-profit or mental health organization is an asset
  • Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with serious mental illness
