At Hegen, we redefine the parenting experience with award-winning innovations tailored for mothers and their little ones. As a trusted brand in mother and baby products, our mission is to empower mothers in their breastfeeding journey and ease the transition into parenthood through meaningful products and services. Recognised as one of Singapore’s top 10 fastest growing companies, Hegen takes pride in creating practical solutions that combine thoughtful designs with functionality and sustainability for time-strapped parents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Demand & Supply Planner at Hegen, you will be the bridge between consumer demand, commercial aspirations, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring that every Hegen product – from our signature feeding bottles to our newest innovations – is available to meet global market needs, while maintaining healthy inventory and optimizing production efficiency.

You will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end supply chain efficiency by balancing customer demand with supply capabilities. This position is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, managing inventory levels, coordinating production or procurement plans, and ensuring optimal product availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to support data-driven decision-making.

This role requires both analytical rigor and collaborative spirit, balancing data with intuition and strategic foresight with operational agility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop, review, and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all product lines across multiple regions and channels.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, and R&D teams to incorporate market intelligence, new product launches, and promotional plans into the demand forecast.
  • Lead monthly Demand Review sessions, providing insights on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and key business drivers.
  • Continuously monitor forecast performance (e.g., bias, MAPE) and implement corrective measures to improve reliability and responsiveness.

2. Supply & Production Planning

  • Translate demand forecasts into executable supply and production plans, ensuring alignment with capacity, material availability, and lead time constraints.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D and Quality teams to ensure timely availability of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Identify potential supply risks or constraints and propose proactive mitigation or recovery plans.
  • Support long-term capacity planning to align with Hegen’s global growth and product innovation roadmap.

3. Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory health across factories, retail outlets and key markets to balance service levels with working capital efficiency.
  • Review and optimise safety stock, reorder points, and lead times in line with demand variability.
  • Conduct periodic stock reviews to minimise obsolescence and ensure product freshness and readiness for market.
  • Champion master data accuracy within ERP and planning systems.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report key planning KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, and Service Levels.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making during product launches, promotions, or supply disruptions.
  • Leverage data insights to recommend process improvements and drive operational excellence across the supply chain.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Commercial, R&D and relevant teams to ensure demand and supply plans are aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with R&D and Marketing to ensure smooth new product introductions (NPIs) from concept to launch.
  • Support sales and supply chain governance by preparing consolidated demand-supply reports and highlighting risks, gaps, or opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering and/or a related field
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in a FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and planning systems
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail and process discipline
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Familiarity with sales and operations planning processes, forecasting models, and inventory optimization principles.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
