About Endowus

Endowus is an award-winning independent fee-only wealth & fund platform. Licensed in and Hong Kong (SFC BQR225) and Singapore (MAS 101051), Endowus proudly serves as a fund investment platform and fiduciary advisor to over 250,000 individuals, family offices, charities, endowments, and institutions with over US$10billion assets under advice.

Today, we work with 100+ global leading asset managers across major asset classes – public markets, private markets, hedge funds and alternatives – and make it our job to assess and access their Best-in-Class funds, and advise clients on how to invest in these funds to reach their goals.

Our mission is clear: help people invest better so they can live easier today, and better tomorrow.

The team has deep domain knowledge in finance and technology, bringing together decades of experience from various banks and tech companies. We treasure our diversity in background and experience, and we look for people who share these beliefs in our mission.

We're looking for a seasoned HR professional to step in for a 6-month maternity cover, supporting our teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia.

This role demands someone who can hit the ground running—bringing both strategic perspective and hands-on execution from day one. You'll partner with leaders across four markets, navigating different employment contexts while maintaining a consistent, high-quality People experience.

In our scaling Fintech environment, the People function sits at the heart of business decision-making. We need a trusted partner to our leadership team: someone with the gravitas to advise senior stakeholders across geographies, the program management discipline to drive complex regional initiatives, and the pragmatism to keep operations running smoothly.

This isn't about keeping a seat warm. It's about making a meaningful impact in a defined timeframe.

What You'll Own

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary People Partner for key teams. You'll advise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and sensitive employee relations matters—adapting your approach to local contexts while maintaining consistency. Your counsel should be grounded in commercial reality—not HR theory.
  • End-to-End Program Management: Drive cross-functional People initiatives with rigor. This means clear scoping, stakeholder alignment, milestone tracking, and disciplined execution. We value delivery over activity.
  • Manager Enablement & Coaching: Design and deliver targeted interventions to build manager capability—performance coaching, difficult conversations, team dynamics, and feedback culture. You'll work with existing frameworks while identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure continuity across core People operations in all four markets: HRIS integrity, employee lifecycle management, compliance reporting, and vendor relationships. You'll navigate different regulatory requirements while keeping processes efficient and consistent

What Success Looks Like

  • Business leaders see you as indispensable—a thought partner they actively seek out for strategic and operational challenges.
  • Engagement insights drive real change—not slide decks that gather dust, but concrete action plans with visible progress.
  • Managers are more capable—they leave interactions with you better equipped to lead their teams.
  • Nothing falls through the cracks—operations run seamlessly; stakeholders experience zero disruption.
  • A seamless transition—comprehensive documentation and a handover that sets up the returning team member for success.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 5–7+ years in HR, with substantive experience as an HR Business Partner (not just generalist or specialist roles)
  • Proven track record in Tech, Fintech, or similarly fast-paced environments
  • Multi-country APAC experience essential—you understand the nuances of operating across Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia
  • Comfortable working across time zones and managing stakeholders remotely

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong program and project management discipline—you bring structure to ambiguity
  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Confident facilitator who can hold a room and drive productive conversations
  • Clear, persuasive communicator—both written and verbal

Presence & Approach

  • Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Sound judgment on sensitive matters; you know when to push and when to hold back
  • High autonomy; you don't wait to be told what to do
  • Pragmatic and outcome-oriented; allergic to HR theatre

Availability

  • Immediate or short-notice start (2–3 weeks maximum) strongly preferred
