The Service Desk Consultant at CreativeTime Solutions is a key role responsible for providing first-level support to all company employees. This includes troubleshooting, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, developing and maintaining technical documentation, and maintaining an update database of common technical issues faced.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Service Desk Manager, the Service Desk Consultant will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to all company staff, including resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Document, track, route, and redirect problems to the correct resources.
- Develop and maintain guides and FAQs for employees and the technical team.
- Monitor Service Desk tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and implement IT standards and processes to improve performance.
- Train other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
- Work closely with IT management team to identify and implement IT improvement processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role of Service Desk Consultant at CreativeTime Solutions should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or other customer support role.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use logical reasoning.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain technological concepts to a non-technological audience.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines.
