The Role

We’re searching for an entrepreneurial and commercially-minded Partnerships Director to lead Amplify’s partnership and growth strategy across Australia and the region.

 

In this senior role, you’ll set the partnerships roadmap, build and develop a high-performing team, and unlock new commercial opportunities. You’ll lead agency and brand relationships, design partnership models, spot new opportunities, and drive key new business initiatives.

 

You’ll own the relationships, the pipeline, and the momentum - building new business while strengthening strategic partnerships. You’ll mentor and guide the Partnerships team, setting priorities, uplifting capability, and driving a culture of growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead Amplify’s national partnerships strategy across agency partners, brand collaborators, platforms, and industry bodies.
  • Develop a scalable partnership framework - including segmentation, strategy, commercial models, and long-term partnership plans.
  • Build, lead, and grow a high-performing Partnerships team as the function expands.
  • Identify, target, and secure high-value agency and strategic partnerships that deliver net-new revenue and long-term value.
  • Own senior relationships across agencies, brand teams, content platforms, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee partnership negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Lead the development of new business opportunities anchored in creator marketing, social content, and talent partnerships.
  • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline, using the CRM to track and report on revenue potential.
  • Track industry trends and platform updates that impact client opportunities.
  • Bring a strong growth mindset to actively drive business expansion

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of influencer marketing, social platforms, and the creator ecosystem.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in sales/partnerships, demonstrated deal-closing skills, and the ability to negotiate contracts and manage revenue targets. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a partnerships function or team (or strong leadership capability ready for the next step).
  • Senior-level relationships with agencies, brands, and/or platform partners.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a confident pitch presence.
  • Highly organised with strong strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, self-directed operator with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Team player with a positive energy and collaborative mindset
  • Willingness to travel for work and attend events
